Asus has been making some incredibly beautiful, affordable, and incredibly affordable gaming laptops lately. The only problem with the first two is the price tag. The last one is the best of the bunch, but now that the price is getting back down to a more reasonable amount we can get a good, solid, affordable laptop. Of course it’s all about the price tag. The most important thing is price.
So we’ve seen the Asus X205-E (gaming) and the X205-SLI (laptop) both with a screen that’s 1,560×1,024 pixels, but the X205-SLI has a more powerful CPU and GPU. The X205-SLI is about $2,000 cheaper than the X205-E.
The good thing about these new notebooks is they can be bought for under $200. The bad thing is they are all low resolution and high cost. That is the reason I wanted to buy an X470-E. The problem is that Asus and NVIDIA’s only offering the X470-E with a 1,536×1,024 screen.
The X470-E has a good set of specifications, and its resolution is perfect for gaming, but it is a $350 laptop. Thats $400 more than the X470-SLI. The X470-E is the only one of the X series to offer a 1,536×1,024 resolution. Asus only offering a 2,560×1,024 resolution, so you can only get a 1,536×1,024 resolution if you pay extra for that.
So if you want to play a game, you can only use a very limited number of resolutions. A game at a higher resolution will be a lot more expensive. The X470-E has a max resolution of 2,560×1,024, which is pretty good, but not perfect.

You can get a 1,536×1,024 resolution if you pay for a 1,536×1,024 resolution card, but it’s not as great as the Asus card itself. The X470 only offers a 1,536×1,024 resolution, and it costs $179, which is a pretty steep price for a game. The X570 has a 1,536×1,024 resolution and costs $89.
I don’t think the X470 is worth the extra money for it’s 1,536×1,024 resolution, but the X570 might be a close second. If you want a 1,536×1,024 resolution card, the Asus card might be just as good.
The X370 is also pretty good; it has a 1,536×1,024 resolution but it costs just 89 as the X470 does. If you’re already planning on getting the X570, then the X470 might be just as good.
The X370 has a 1,536×1,024 resolution and also costs 89. I believe I said the X570 has a 1,536×1,024 resolution and the X370 costs 89.
